BRONZES IN THE DESERT : The minerality of the deserts has given to Verame the idea to transform a stone ( a non valuable thing ) in Art Bronze. It was his way to transcend a fragment of the universe – without formal reference – into a noble object. Thousand bronzes were cast in a foundery in the Chevreuse valley. They were exhibited one single day at the Musée de l’Homme in Paris and then transported to Niger and throwed into the Sahara sands from a plane during five flights. Those bronzes ; signed, numbered and recovered with a blue patina, are a gift to humanity, to the ones who find such a piece, aswell an actual person than people in the future. Some pieces were actually found . This 52’ film was produced by Palette and Canal+ channel.
